Bucket list update

Hello lovelies, so when I started this blog over 2 years ago I wrote a post about my bucket list. Since then I have completed a few things on that list and just wanted to do a little update post on it.

September blogging goals

Hello lovelies, as I mentioned in my previous post that I am volunteering in South Africa for most of September. However, I do have some goals I like to achieve this month for my blog even though I'm no going to be very active.

I'm going to South Africa

Hello lovelies, so as the title says I'm going to South Africa. As you are reading this (Sunday morning) I will be sat in the airport (for the first time)on my own, hopefully not panicking too much. I guess you could describe it as a working holiday as I'm going to volunteer on a nature reserve but will have time for leisure activities.

My favourite place in Cornwall

Hello lovelies, as summer is coming to an end now with slightly cooler temperatures, it got me thinking about the past summers when I have visited my favourite place in the UK. Cornwall. It has been one of my favourite places for as long as I can remember just because it is so beautiful and peaceful. I must say the majority of time that I've been the weather has been pretty miserable, oh the typical English weather. However, when the weather is good Cornwall is one of the prettiest places to visit.

Spring/summer clothing haul

Hello lovelies, and welcome back for another blog post. This is a different one to normal but I thought it was time to tell you a little bit about two of the things I love so much, my cats. As I'm writing this they are both asleep on my bed next to me. I hope you enjoy :)

Winchcombe spring walk photo diary

Hello lovelies, spring is definitely upon us now and the sun actually came out last weekend. Which meant that I went for a lovely walk in the Cotswold town Winchcombe with my mum. It was so lovely and sunny and so many beautiful lambs were out in the fields. I couldn't resist taking lots of pictures of the lambs. I hope you enjoy and it puts a smile on your face.

How I improved my blog photography

I thought that it was about time to reflect upon how far my blog has come in the past year especially the improvement of my pictures which is obviously quite important. I am not saying that the pictures I take now are amazing and the best they'll ever be, as they are definitely not. But I am a lot happier with them now and the direction they are heading in. So here are my tips.

Spring Fashion Wish List

Hello lovelies and welcome back to another blog post. I was just getting a bit of uni revision done but now I've got into bed and decided that I wanted to write this blog post. With all this cold snowy weather in the UK it's hard to imagine that spring is in fact just around the corner. It made me think about the clothes I would love to get my hands on for spring. So here are a couple of things I've found throughout the internet and of course Pinterest.

NYX makeup haul

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. So I popped into town with my sister the other day and grabbed a couple of things from the NYX stand. I definitely didn't manage to get as much as I wanted to cause we had ran out of time on the parking so had to rush. This ends up happening too often, oops. So here is the make-up that I got.

The Sunshine Blogger Award

Hello everyone and welcome back. I've been super busy with uni work so finally getting round to this. I would like to start off by thanking @bloglove2018 on Twitter for nominating me. You can find their blog here

Rules:
  1. Thank blogger(s) who nominated you for the blog post and link back to their blog.
  2. Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.
  3. Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
  4. List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or on your blog

1)  Did you know what you were going to blog about right away?
Initially I never knew exactly what I wanted to blog about, but I did like the idea of blogging about anything and not being restricted.
2)  What is one thing you cannot live without?
Sounds silly but literally my water bottle. I literally take it everywhere with me even if I'm going to someone's house and I can just get glasses of water. My friends would agree with me on this- I literally don't leave the house without one. Hydration is important.
3)  What was your childhood dream job?
 For as long as I can remember I had always wanted to be a Vet. I'm training as a Veterinary Nurse now so not too far off.
4)  What is your favourite day of the week?
 By far that would the to be Saturday cause (normally) I wouldn't have to worry about getting up early for work and I can have that well needed lie-in.
5)  Do you create several posts ahead of time or wait until the day you post?
Currently I don't actually have a regular day that I post mainly just because I can never guarantee I'll be able to get a post up for a certain day because of my uni work. So normally I'll write and blog post and put it up that day. If I'm really productive I can write a few posts and have them ready ahead of time for the next few weeks. Just depends how busy I am.
6)  Do you have any pets, if so tell us about them?
Yes I do. I currently have two cats called Bella and Freddie. Bella is 8 years old and is literally my shadow. She'll come to see me when I'm home from work, she'll sleep on my bed every night. Freddie is 4 years old, a little chubby and likes to annoy Bella

7)  What is in your purse right now?.
Nothing, I've literally just taken everything out of it.
8)  Have you found it easy to stick to your New Year’s Resolutions?
 I never make them but if I did I know is struggle to keep them.
9)  What do you consider the perfect date night?
I don't actually have a perfect date night. As long as it was something I enjoyed doing with a great person then that'll be perfect enough for me.
10)  What is your favourite meal?
Hmm how to pick one. I'd have to say either spaghetti bolognese or vegetable lasagna. Both absolutely delicious.
11)  What was the last movie you watched?

It would have been Bridget Jones's Baby. Bridget Jones's Diary are definitely my favourite films and I've watched them countless times.

My nomanies are:
@amylouise_web
@hanfish153
@_JadeWilliams
@Stephloves4
@mynameisnotkell
@LeighannLeAnn
@BlogBriana
@likeagalaxygirl
@BandiaBlog
@polly_55
@theowletblog

My eleven questions to you are:

1) What made you want to start blogging?

2) What's your favourite place to visit?

3) Describe yourself in three words?

4) What talents do you have?

5) What is your dream holiday?

6) What is your all-time favourite film? Why?

7) What is your spirit animal?

8) What is your proudest moment?

9) If you could have a superpower what would it be? And why?

10) What are your goals for 2018?

11) What is your biggest pet peeve?

I look forward to reading all your answers.

What made me start blogging?

So it has recently occurred to me that I started my blog back in July 2016. Which is insane to think about. And it had got me thinking about writing a post to talk about the reasons why I started blogging and what I wanted to get out of it.

Bristol Zoo Photo Diary

One of my favourite things I love to do is go an day trips, whether it's to a city, a castle or a zoo. Where ever I go I do like to take a lot of pictures and now that I have a DSLR camera I can take much better pictures. This post is different to the ones I have done before but I really want to capture the things I get up to in these photo diaries.

Mini New Look Haul

Popped into town this morning and of course had to pay a visit to New Look despite not actually needing anything, as per usual, and I picked up a few things.

Seeing Ed Sheeran in Manchester!

Well this was a long time ago, like April last year long time ago. But it was an absolutely amazing experience and I have been meaning to write about it since. And I am only getting round to it now, which is a shame.

Now I have been a fan of Ed Sheeran for a couples of years now and as soon as I heard his Divide album I was blown away by his music. He is literally perfection, my favourite artist my miles.

So back in April I has a 3 hour train journey (oh the joys) up to Manchester to meet my best friend. We checked into our hotel, after finally finding it after searching all around the city for it, and then got ready to head out to the Manchester Arena.

The arena itself was humongous and I was very much overwhelmed by the size of it. I had never been in an arena before so it was such an exciting new experience. Ed's singing and guitar playing was amazing throughout the whole show and I did not want it to stop at the end of the night.

Typically I was next to one of the most annoying couples ever and the girl constantly kept singing (badly) at the top of her lungs to every song which I could also hear on some of my videos. Now I don't mind people enjoying themselves and singing along but it got to the point when it was just too much. Despite that I still enjoyed Ed.

I absolutely love Ed Sheeran and he deserves every ounce of success that he has had and is still yet to come.

Please let me know if you are a fan of Ed Sheeran and if you have or are going to see him perform live. If you haven't then you definitely need to. I'm going again in June and I cannot wait. Sorry that these pictures are not the best but I did the best I could.
