Edinburgh Zoo photo diary

Hello lovelies, as some of you may know that I spent new year in Edinburgh with my boyfriend, which was lovely. The city was beautiful and I love all the old stone buildings. I will write a separate post about Edinburgh but for now I want to share some of my pictures from the Zoo, where I got to see some animals I'd never seen before.

Now it only seemed right that I started off with this one as this was the animal I was most excited about seeing as I had never seen a giant panda before and I believe Edinburgh is the only zoo in the UK with giant panda's.

This guy had quite the hair-do going on. Fun fact: did you know baboons have sharp canine teeth similar in length to lions.

My current mood as I'm writing this. I'm so tired and lectures haven't even started back yet at uni.

At first I wasn't actually able to see the face of the Koala but we ended up passing the enclosure again later on, so of course I had to take another look to see if I could get a better picture. And I did, just about.

I don't think much needs to be said about this. Just some good timing, haha.

So I must have spent a good 15-20 minutes stood by these cuties (sorry James) trying to get a good picture because they were so high up in the trees and were barely visible. But I love red panda's so I was determined to get a good picture and I'd say I'm happy with what I managed.

I hope you enjoyed my post and let me know if you have been to Edinburgh Zoo in the comments below and which was your favourite animal. You can follow me on Instagram at Blogger_Rachael and twitter @rachyrachh1. You can also Follow my blog with Bloglovin
